The last 6 weeks have been dedicated to kidney stones and surgery, AND, on a Vicodin cloud, I decided to redo some of my decor; sort of "vintage loft" for the great room:
It started with these wonderful metal and glass tables with burled walnut bowls on the bottom which we found in the dusty basement of an antique shop in the Gorge on the way to get huckleberries. AND "Provence" for the dining room....

Today, I'm a sleepy cat. Wow, We had a great Expo experience. We were hot and exhausted, then wet and exhausted, but we sold over half of our stuff and grinned all the way to the bank. Thanks to Kathy P. and the staff at Palmer Wirfs and my wonderful daughter, Paige, for all the help!

WOW! I put some new garage sale finds in the dining room hutch, and the room looks like a Natural History Museum! And I redid my kitchen table with Pottery Barn chairs we found unassembled at another garage sale.
Glen and I have been married for almost 9 years now and whatever either of us dreams up, Glen can make it happen! Previously, we opened "1817 Main Street Vintage" in November, 2011 and it was the culmination of many dreams and talents. We have now passed it on to two of our former dealers so we can focus on creating original lighting and curating our booths at OLD GLORY ANTIQUES at 20th and Main in Vancouver, WA.
Having read decorating magazines since the age of 8, I (Marci) have a true passion for design. My addiction to textiles, lamps and furniture compelled me to be quite the gypsy for many years, moving from home to home so I could redecorate!
When Glen and I fell in love and married, we became a true creative partnership. Now all of my crazy design ideas become reality as Glen can fabricate anything, from farm tables with his wood lathe, to industrial lights, many of which already grace local rehabbed homes and bars and restaurants. Please visit us at OLD GLORY.
